Dear Superintendent Jones,

My client Donald Bettio has determined that the Stow Munroe Falls School District has paid twice for the same legal services. Additionally, the School Board apparently paid for legal representation before the Ohio Elections Commission when it had no business before the Ohio Elections Commission.  My client suspects that Attorneys Adam Miller and Donald McTigue were paid by the school district for work they performed for the Stow Munroe Falls School District Levy Committee. These payments are contained within Ulmer and Berne Invoice #1959251.

I have attached the relevant records of the double payment and payments related to work before the Ohio Elections Commission.

My client is of the opinion that there may have been an improper use of taxpayer funds and has requested that I begin the process of instituting a taxpayer lawsuit.

Before doing so, I want to give you a chance to address these issues. Please respond in writing.

Sincerely, Warner Mendenhall

How about reporting this to state and the local news media, and the Attorney General’s office? (I don’t mean the Stow Sentry which seems to back every single thing Stow government does.)

More smoke and mirrors from our school administration. They expect us to trust their fiscal management? How much of the taxpayer’s money is being unnecessarily diverted to district attorneys? Of course the superintendent and treasurer aren’t losing any sleep over this – they are not residents!

    Warner-Freaking-Mendenhall??

Are you kidding me? Congratulations guys — YOU ARE OFFICIALLY A F__KING JOKE!!

He got his clock cleaned in the recall election in Akron last summer because he ran a HORRENDOUS campaign. Warner is considered a joke in the area. Even among his colleagues.

I am more concerned about the school district wasting $$ on an attorney over the whole newspaper fiasco (with the student who, sadly, committed suicide) — and I commend and fully support the students of the newspaper in this dispute, as the Principal fails to cite anything substantial or supportive to back up her claim. IMO, the Principal should be relieved of her duties, but I digress.

This latest blog entry, again, highlights the ignorance of the person posting this garbage. You do not even know FOR A FACT that a double payment was made. How about waiting to find out FOR A FACT IF it has been — instead of doing this?

    You guys are losers.

Dipwad JackIsSmarterThanYou: Having attended many School Board and SCRG meetings, I can tell you, YES, IT IS A FACT! A double payment was made and I do know the SCRG plans on posting the proof on this site in the near future. I am sure that you know that all this legal garbage takes time. Talk about ignorance, you obviously haven’t attended any kind of meetings or read any newspapers in quite a while.

In loooking at JackIsSmarterThanYou’s first few postings, I at first thought that he was so far out of his tree that he may be tweeting like a bird. However, some of what he spouts off about is exactly what this website is trying to accomplish.
